RC Piano Lessons 2019 Spring Concerts

Taking piano lessons, and all that it requires, is truly a vehicle to so much more than just learning how to play an instrument.

With that said, our piano concerts fall in that same category. Being required to perform twice a year is specifically for growth, as a person, that bleeds into the rest of your life.

Bold Statement, right? Yes, but instrumentally true.

Not only have neuroscientists proven that learning music is virtually the only thing that stimulates the entire brain all at once but public speaking (or performing) is the Number One fear in society. That's right... over death.

Concerts tackle both of these....Beautifully.

This past Sunday students faced their fears in the very 1st quarter of this year.

At this time, most of society has already given up on their New Years Resolutions of being more disciplined or focused on a specific goal. At our 1st piano concert of the year our students are sharing their musical targets, discipline and hard work they've been focused on for the past 6 months.

Every age, ethnicity and walk of life crosses that stage with their current musical goal completed. That's how we teach our future generations growth. It's hitting one goal at a time...consistently. Like anything in life.

It's always humbling to be flooded with texts and comments of how countless students are inspired by others who have worked hard and done the same at every level.

This mindset that is taken away from a beautiful afternoon of sharing music sets the tone of learning for the next 6 months of the year.

We're a community that comes together and stands for each others possibilities. Fears or not. We face them and keep showing up to share the time and effort that's put into practicing piano, learning music and crushing our goals. Confidence is a by-product that continues to grow each and every performance.

Our Best is what we always strive for... Every time. And boy, does everyones' best make a beautiful soundtrack of yet another unforgettable memory.

Thank you for the music!

Yours Truly,

Your RC Piano Lessons Family :)
